On 5 September 2025, we had the honor of collaborating with the National Social Security Fund (NSSF) in organizing an educational and promotional event aimed at raising awareness of the “Law on Road Traffic, Travel Safety, and Transportation Safety for Drivers of Vehicles Carrying Workers and Employees” at Royal Group Phnom Penh Special Economic Zone (RGPPSEZ).

 

Under the presidency of H.E. Dr. HENG Sophannarith, Deputy General Director of NSSF, and H.E. SOK PenhVuth, Deputy Governor of The Phnom Penh Administration, the event was designed to strengthen awareness among drivers and transport service providers who are responsible for the daily commute of thousands of workers. By improving the understanding of traffic laws and safe driving practices, the initiative seeks to reduce road accidents and enhance worker protection.

 

During the event, NSSF representatives highlighted that strict compliance with the Road Traffic Law is not only a legal obligation but also a crucial measure to safeguard workers’ lives and support the long-term sustainability of Cambodia’s industrial sector. This reflects NSSF’s commitment to worker welfare and accident prevention, while reinforcing RGPPSEZ’s efforts to provide a safe and reliable environment for both employees and investors.

We are proud to be a part of this initiative to raise awareness nationwide about road safety, travel security, and the importance of responsible transportation systems in Cambodia’s growing industrial landscape.
