In the afternoon of 3 July 2025, we were highly honored to welcome the visit of delegates from the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste to Royal Group Phnom Penh Special Economic Zone (RGPPSEZ). 

The visit was initiated by JICA, and the agenda began with a comprehensive presentation and discussion about RGPPSEZ’s businesses, operation, infrastructure, investment incentives, and our pivotal role in supporting Cambodia’s manufacturing and export sectors. Following the presentation, the delegation held a meeting with representative officials from the General Department of Customs and Excise. The discussion focused on customs procedures within the zone, cross-border logistics facilitation, and regulatory frameworks for SEZs, offering the delegation valuable insights into Cambodia’s trade operations and policies.

After the informative meeting, the delegates visited the factory of Okato (Cambodia) Phnom Penh Co., Ltd., a Japanese manufacturer of household products in our zone. The delegation then paid a visit to Bok Seng PPSEZ Dry Port to observe the logistics capabilities, including container handling, storage, and inland transportation services. 

We felt very honored and proud. We hope that this visit provides all the delegates with some valuable and useful information and practices from RGPPSEZ. We believe that this visit will contribute to the strengthening of bilateral trade, investment cooperation and industrial development between Timor-Leste and Cambodia.
